First Off, What Is Cyber Monday?Cyber Monday is the digital, and literal follow-up to Black Friday, and it’s been a growing shopping holiday for nearly fifteen years. The concept dates back to 2005, when a team of creatives named Ellen Davis and Scott Silverman invented it for the National Retail Federation. The first Cyber Monday extravaganza was announced in a press release for Shop.org, and it’s since blossomed into an international tradition with major participants including Amazon and Best Buy.
