After you’re done browsing the designer shops nearby, we recommend stopping by for a luxurious brown butter blondie, which perfectly ties traditional comfort food with an elegant new twist. If you’re on a business trip and want to impress your coworkers at the DC office, you can’t go wrong with a box of the Chocolate Chunk Cookies. You’ll be the most popular person at the office.

Dog Tag Bakery

Georgetown’s Dog Tag Bakery, which employs disabled veterans from nearby Georgetown University, is one of our favorite spots in the city. In addition to supporting a great cause, the baked goods here also happen to be delicious. We’d suggest coming by if you’re looking to knock out a pile of work, since you’ll be surrounded by Georgetown students.
