Washington DC Indie Film Festival 2015

February 25, 2015 @ 8:00 am - March 1, 2015 @ 5:00 pm

Washington DC’s oldest film festival returns for yet another installment in 2015. The Washington DC Indie Film Festival 2015 will bring an array of noteworthy cinema to various venues around the District from February 25 to March 1, 2015.

The Washington DC Indie Film Festival (DCIFF) will showcase brand new feature films, exceptional shorts, and a collection of documentaries. The selected films will be pulled from filmmakers of all styles, experience levels and nationalities to uphold the festival’s reputation as one of the nation’s most forward-thinking.

Award-winning films at past iterations of the festival include the documentary Ofir (2014), the narrative short Halina (2014), and the Garrison Keillor-narrated documentary Let There Be Light (2013). This year’s festival promises more of the same under-the-radar but above-average work, including narrative features The Chain and Wildlike and documentaries like Blood, Sweat & Beer and Controversies.
