Produced by the Smithsonian Institution, this festival’s activities, held on the National Mall, encourage the public to learn, sing, dance, try traditional foods and join in cultural conversations with artists and festival visitors. The 2016 Smithsonian Folklife Festival will celebrate The Basque Country and resilient communities around the world.
