Head to DC’s storied Kennedy Center to see one of the world’s most critically-acclaimed dance companies, in town for four nights this spring. The Royal Swedish Ballet will tackle Shakespeare’s timeless tale of Romeo and Juliet, but will do so with a little twist. In this version of the story, with music from 19th-century composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky, contemporary Swedish choreographer Mats Ek ads some modernity to the 400+ year story. This will be the North American premiere for the winner of the 2015 Olivier Award from Best New Dance Production.
