National LOCUS Leadership Summit: Private Sector Solutions to the Affordability and Social Equity Crisis.
The 2015 LOCUS Leadership Summit is returning to Washington, DC this June for its annual education and networking event. It will bring together the country’s leading real estate developers, investors, and elected officials for conversation and events centered around urban development and affordable living.
The first day of the summit will take place at Carnegie Library in Mount Vernon Square. The Carnegie Library’s 75,000 square feet of event space is the perfect venue for discussion sessions and a cocktail social slated for Tuesday, June 2nd. On day two, the summit will meet at the Grand Hyatt, which features modern and spacious meeting rooms, and is conveniently located near the Verizon Center and Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.
The purpose of the summit is to stimulate a wide range of conversation on a variety of issues like gentrification and and social equity. The two-day event is aimed at helping attendees network, learn, influence federal policy, and explore the local real estate scene in Washington, DC.
