Capitol Hill Hotel is hosting a reading and discussion with the author of Bobby Kennedy: The Making of a Liberal Icon by New York Times bestselling author Larry Tye on Wednesday, September 14, as part of the Hotel’s evening wine reception. This book has been described as “the definitive biography of one of America’s most compelling political figures” by Roger Mudd, winner of the Peabody Award and former co-anchor of NBC Nightly News.
As we stand in the midst of a divisive presidential election campaign, Tye can discuss the lessons offered by the 1968 campaign, and other ways in which Bobby’s message of optimism continues to resonate. Join us for this complimentary event.
RSVP is recommended; RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
