Enjoy a night out listening to gorgeous classical music at the Kennedy Center Chamber Players’ performance this winter. In January, the group of ten musicians will play a range of under-the-radar pieces that aren’t often performed. Anticipated pieces include Johannes Brahms’ String Sextet, a bold, captivating piece; Sextet for Piano and Winds, a winding piece by Francis Poulenc, and the uplifting Woodwind Quintet No. 1 by Jean Francaix. The lesser-known nature of these pieces makes for a particularly fascinating performance that’ll have you talking long after the show is over and will have you looking further into the other musical pieces by these composers.
Book here to stay with the The Capitol Hill Hotel during the event. For more information, check out the event website here.
