This five day series of contemporary ballet performances will feature works by renowned industry creatives William Forsythe, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and Septime Webre. Forsythe’s work, In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated, is a modern routine set to electronic music. Ochoa’s, Prism, is a movement set to a legendary jazz piano riff played by Keith Jarrett in 1975, and State of Wonder, choreographed by Webre, consists of 32 dance translations of Bach’s Goldberg variations. The cumulatively mind-bending and eclectic program is one of the most highly anticipated shows coming to the Washington Ballet in 2016.
