Chef Spike Mendelsohn opens Good Stuff Eatery in Georgetown. The popular burger and shake shack has a current outpost in Capitol Hill (303 Pennsylvania Ave SE). The eatery is known for specialty patties, along with hand-cut fries and house made custard-based milkshakes. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America Chef Mendelsohn has worked in top kitchens around the country in lauded restaurants such as Le Cirque, Les Crayeres and Bouchon. Chef Mendelsohn rose to national attention as one of the stars on Bravo’s Top Chef. In addition to Good Stuff Eateries, Chef Mendolsohn also runs We the Pizza with his family which is located in Capitol Hill.
