Among the many options, plenty are perfect for spring, especially one of the few sleeveless jumpsuits, or long, open and light cowl jackets.

The brainchild of former buyer and non-profit founder Ricki Peltzman, Upstairs on 7th is an eclectic shop with stylish and comfortable options. The Planet Spring 2016 Collection is a new series of car coats, athletic pants and cut-out tops, and we love its popping and sauve E-Z Shirts and ruched dresses.

This popular shop describes itself as “a trendy and cost-conscious alternative to the stiff M Street in Georgetown.” While we do love shopping in Georgetown, we can’t disagree with Violet Boutique’s collection of flashy skirts and stellar blazers—or its prices.
